The Civic Action Group at Trinity is a group of community members that come together to stand with and for our neighbors. Seen in the example of Jesus, we acknowledge and see the effects of what is broken in the world every day. Through the whole of Scripture, God is seen calling God’s people to do the sacred work of seeing and interacting with one another with the radical love of God. When talking about the family of God, Paul shares how we need one another. That when one suffers, we all suffer and when one rejoices, we can rejoice. Jesus calls his followers to attend to what is broken and implores us to join God in building God’s Kin(g)dom through loving and prophetic action.
Whenever someone at Trinity commits to God’s healing and reconciling work, we want to support them; through prayer, encouragement, and action.
